About the UI and UX Designer position

We are looking for an experienced UI Designer to create amazing user journeys for our clients. Our clients need your creativity to understand the personas they are serving and craft a technical journey for them, whether on the web or mobile device.

You should be keen on clean and artful design and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, creating beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. You should also know about the various gestures and UI controls the current technology offers.

UI / UX Designer responsibilities include:

  • Joining in on the sales process to craft interactive prototypes, sometimes based on a corporate branding guideline, sometimes without.

  • Participate in all visual design stages, from concept to communicating your designs to our software development and QA teams.

  • Develop original ideas that simplify and make complex design roadblocks user-friendly. A book called 'Don't Make Me Think' encapsulates our approach to users of our creations.

  • Prepare wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively.

  • Discuss designs and key milestone deliverables with peers, executive-level stakeholders, and our senior architect.

  • Perform user research and evaluate user feedback. This is quite exciting -- seeing how users interact with your designs and being inspired to improve them.

  • Set design guidelines, best practices, and standards. Helped establish and guide our internal design system to empower our developers to create the best software for our clients.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies. We will pay to improve your craft by sending you to design conferences, training, and certifications. You will also have the best workstation to perform your craft.

UI / UX Designer requirements are:

  • 3+ years' experience of working on a UI Designer position

  • Profound UI design skills with a solid portfolio of design projects

  • Significant experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps

  • Significant experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools. Scratch that. We do not care which tool you use. We have seen significant productivity using Figma. We have even worked with Visily and see great potential in these tools.

  • Good practical experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You do not need to know how to code any of these, but be familiar with how they drive the visuals of a system.

  • Strong visual design skills with a good understanding of user-system interaction

  • Adoption of our Core Values (5)

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach

  • Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum development process

  • BS or MS degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or other related area
